Katrina, Katie, Kate…she goes by any variation of the name and comes to us with an assorted athletic background including soccer, track, endurance racing (marathons and triathlons) and a little bit of Muay Thai (and by a little we mean, she beat up bags, not actual people). She has completed 3 GORUCK Challenges and loves helping people get started in the GORUCK world because it’s an incredible way to build a bridge between the civilian and military world. Katie was introduced to CrossFit in 2008 after coming off of multiple injuries from the endurance world and saw the benefits of strength training coupled with the high intensity metcons. She juggled different types of training for the next couple of years while gaining her CrossFit Level 1 and RKC.
She loves helping athletes push themselves past their preconceived limits and has a huge heart for wanting to inspire others to be better than they thought they could be, stronger than they imagined and healthier than conventional wisdom allows.
