Jennie McSweeney, a native of Chapel Hill, NC, spent her formative fitness years as a collegiate soccer player at Simmons College in Boston, MA. After moving to Clarksville and quickly deciding she needed a shift from the typical fitness club atmosphere, she entered the CrossFit community here at Solafide in April, 2015. After a year as an athlete, she began building her coaching resume in November, 2016. Extending her abilities to teaching, Jennie began coaching Endurance and CrossFit classes multiple mornings per week. She is a veteran and champion of a multitude of scaled and Rx competitions throughout the mid-south, to include a scaled division gold medal finish at Battle of the Barbells in 2018. Her certifications include Pose Running, CrossFit Level 1, and the CrossFit Judges Course.Jennie currently works as a full time clinical Social Worker at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital in Nashville. She is happily married to husband Dan, an Army Officer at Fort Campbell, and is a proud dog mom to Rugen.
