The-Boston-Marathon-2013Today we Honor Boston…The Runners, The Families, The Supporters, The Community of Boston as well as The Community of Runners and Athletes Worldwide.

If you are an avid runner and athlete…What feelings do you associate with running? I have been thinking about that very question this week. We run because we have the ability, we have the desire, and who cant appreciate the invigorating feeling that comes with finishing. The journey we took to get to that finish line, the support and encouragement we had along the way, the power of accomplishment. Why do you run?

“Runners are real people. They don’t run for money or recognition, they do it out of passion. Most have day jobs that pay the bills, and running is a labor of love.  The human body is capable of amazing physical deeds. If we could just free ourselves from our perceived limitations and tap into our internal fire, the possibilities are endless. Most dreams die a slow death. Today we lift up Boston. We mourn the deaths and the disaster and at the same time we celebrate the life and our great freedom. Our freedom to run… or not to run. Our freedom to choose. Thank you to the men and women that serve our Nation and provide us with these abilities. Together we stand against terrorism. We run. And we won’t be shaken!

Please bring your Running shoes, Compression socks, Ipods, and Water bottles. Each Athlete will have the ability to choose how much they run for Boston today. Please select a WOD from below.

A. 13.1 (You will have the option on Saturday to do another 13.1 and complete a Full Marathon in 2 days)
